The 2BV liquid ring vacuum pump is designed for the evacuation of gases and water vapor, with an inlet pressure capability of 33 mbar absolute (97% vacuum). When equipped with an atmospheric ejector, the inlet pressure can be further reduced to 10 mbar. The ejector can be directly mounted on the vacuum pump. When used as a compressor, the 2BV can achieve a maximum pressure of up to 0.26 MPa (absolute).
During operation, the compression process of gases in the 2BV liquid ring vacuum pump and compressor is isothermal. This means that the temperature remains relatively constant throughout the compression cycle. As a result, when handling flammable and explosive gases, the risk of hazardous situations is significantly reduced.
